Formed around 20 years ago, the Group started life as the General Sales Agency (GSA) World Aviation Systems (WAS), which represented several international airlines. WAS is still a mainstay of our business today; its long reputation of professionalism and service has helped the Group enjoy a valued and respected presence in the airline industry.
The success of WAS was immediate and the business evolved quickly into a truly international GSA network, with partnerships in Asia, North America, North Africa and Australasia.
Growth & Diversity
The Group has grown adding a customer contact and support centre, Centrecom Ltd, to its portfolio in 2006. Centrecom is an integrated customer contact operation staffed by a multilingual team. It is one of the largest contact centres in Malta and offers the greatest diversity of languages.
In tandem, and complementing the role of Centrecom Ltd, we set up in late 2007 BPO Services Ltd, a business process outsourcing and back-office operation supporting, among other key airline industry processes, revenue accounting. Our team at BPO Services Ltd comprises experts drawn from the airline industry, who bring with them considerable, in-depth knowledge of serving the airline industry.
BPO Services Ltd and Centrecom Ltd leverage on the advantages of the Maltese Islands as a cost-efficient, European, outsourcing and near-shoring base. Centrecom Ltd and BPO Services Ltd are emerging as key growth drivers within the World Aviation Group.
A newcomer to our portfolio is Aviation Online whose interests lie in representing airlines in new markets or geographic regions that would not be viable for them to serve alone. Again, our experience gained in the aviation sector stands us in good stead to build, maintain and extend an airline’s marketing, sales and customer care in local markets around the globe.
