World Aviation Group’s Easter Figolla Competition World Aviation Group recently organised a Figolla Competition to celebrate Easter. The figolla is a traditional Maltese delicacy made during the Easter festivities. A variety of figolli of different shapes and sizes were presented during the competition, all of which were prepared by WAG staff members. Once the winners were announced by the judges the rest of the staff were also able to enjoy a bite. At the same time a raffle was organised where a giant chocolate Easter Egg was won by a lucky employee. All proceeds from the raffle will be given to a local charity later this year. Such events are important to World Aviation Group since they help to increase employee involvement within the organisation whilst at the same time contribute to the organisation’s involvement within the community by way of donations to local charities. World Aviation Group plans to organise other similar events in the near future in order to continue fostering a stronger bond between employees.
